The problem of Muslim extremism is real, and it’s extent is not properly measured by the degree to which Western Islamophobes exaggerate it, nor the degree to which Liberals underplay it.
It is not a problem that exists because it is a topic of discussion by non-Muslims, and it will not cease to exist when they start talking about something else.
This is a crucial issue for the overall health of our Ummah, and we do need to deal with it
