If the common denominator between jihadis and moderate Islamists is the belief in the absolute necessity of a government that implements the Shari’ah in its entirety, the belief that Islam provides a total, comprehensive system that legislated every conceivable aspect of human life; then the only thing that makes one extremist and the other moderate is methodology; but both are ideologically extreme.
