Someone argued that the slogan, “Islam is the solution”, is literally true, i.e., that every conceivable issue that can occur in human life until Judgment Day has already been sorted out by Islam; because Allah Says in the Qur’an:
“…We have neglected nothing in the Book…”
See? This is why you should not learn your religion from Islamist ideologues. That is not even remotely the way the Mufassireen explained this ayah; and indeed, you could only interpret it that way by taking that one part of the ayah out of the context of the complete ayah; and without relating it to similar ayaat elsewhere in the Qur’an. .
In other words, you could only NOT understand this ayah if you either are 1) only interested in using the Qur’an to justify your ideology; or 2) you have been taught by someone who is only interested in using the Qur’an to justify their ideology.
