These segments of the Muslim community who try to debunk long-held interpretations of Islam, whether it has to do with redefining Hijab, or trying to invent a new method for the classification of hadiths to nullify newly inconvenient statements of the Prophet ﷺ; they are in a boxing match with a glacier. Which is to say, they have decided to be irrelevant. This type has come and gone time and time again over the vast lifetime of this Ummah. If they gain millions of followers and attain power, maybe…MAYBE… they will secure themselves a miniscule footnote in Islamic history as a momentary detour from orthodoxy, along with other such detours from the past – some of which lasted for generations, but all of which drowned finally in the common sense consensus of the Muslims. So, why waste your time with such foolishness? In over 1,400 years the most successful heretics have not made a dent in this religion.
