There are so many things about which it is entirely unnecessary for you to have an opinion. In fact, I would suggest that most matters about which we opine on social media, for instance, are irrelevant both to us and about us. That is; they are matters that do not actually have any importance, and about which our opinions are correspondingly unimportant. This is, perhaps, an obvious observation. The interesting work related to opining about irrelevancies is in discovering why we feel the need to have an opinion about them. This will reveal more about ourselves than the opinions we have conjured.
