I’ve been told about a thirtysomething year old man with a number of preexisting health conditions in Europe who is alone, out of work because of forced closures; who is walking now from block to block to buy food supplies because all the shelves in the markets are bare from panic shopping by people who are at far less risk than he is.
You can imagine how many elderly people are in identical circumstances. The #lockdown policy increases their exposure and their vulnerability. A more focused and targeted approach would be more effective, more responsible and wiser.
