Here’s what cops on the street should be doing when they see someone outside during the #coronavirus zombie apocalypse:
“Excuse me, citizen with rights, are you aware that there is currently a pandemic and that by going about your life, there is a chance you might be exposed to infection, and that depending upon your overall health, you could face a slim risk of serious symptoms and even the slight possibility of death?”
“Yes, officer, thank you; I’m fine with that.”
“”Have a nice day, citizen with rights.”
And before you give me the whole “but they could transmit it unknowingly to people who are not ok with it” — no, because THOSE people can remain voluntarily shut-ins.
If you are afraid of catching it, the responsibility is on you to avoid people who are not afraid of catching it.
