They are funded in the tens of millions of dollars by white-financed and managed, very mainstream major organisations like the Ford Foundation, and super rich individuals like George Soros, and the founder of Taco Bell.
The issue of police brutality is discussed almost daily on mainstream networks and social media, and police shootings have been in steady and significant decline over the past few years.
