“So whoever does an atom’s weight of good will see it, And whoever does an atom’s weight of evil will see it.”
This, to me, is the gold standard of fairness for which we should all strive when we are assessing one another, ourselves, and ideas.
It is not easy. It is mentally extremely taxing, and we are always going to battle that innate tendency to mis-measure sometimes as a tonne, what is actually only an atom’s weight — but this should be our aim in how we evaluate people and things.
That is what I mean when I talk about being objective.
