The redirection of public discourse onto platforms owned and controlled by private companies has become unfathomably worse in terms of the curtailment of free speech due to Covid19 lockdowns, which prohibit public gatherings on the obvious basis of the political leanings of those gatherings.
Meaning, the only accessible venues for public discourse available to people now are those corporate-owned platforms which reserve the right to censor or ban users whose speech violates the rules imposed by the company, not the Constitution.
