It is a grave mistake to view the #WokeMovement as having any linear connection to activist movements in America’s past. This is not a sequel to the Civil Rights or Labor, Suffragette or Abolitionist movements; all of which based their appeals upon the founding principles of the country and the tenets of Liberalism. The Woke Movement is an attack on those principles and an assault on those tenets, seeking to dismantle the moral and intellectual foundations of Western Civilization.
