I am imagining a woke White couple who decide to adopt because it is ‘selfish’ to bear children, and thinking it would be racist to adopt a White child while Black orphans are ignored; they go to Haiti, arrange an adoption, then check Twitter…and suddenly learn that what they are about to do is racist and colonialist, so they cancel the adoption and fly home, narrowly escaping with their wokeness
