I have to advocate freedom of speech even if it includes the right of someone to insult my religion. Arguing in defense of my religion is not the role of the state; it is mine. If I accept for the state to restrict the speech of those who insult my Deen, I must also accept my own speech to be potentially restricted from defending it.
