Extremism begets extremism, and yes, there is an element in society that benefits greatly by the radicalization of the population. It is, however, a very dangerous strategy for social management. For most of 2020, we witnessed the escalating belligerence of the Left / Woke mob, and we may be entering a phase in which we will see this mirrored in a backlash from the Right. I would suggest that Right Wing extremists are immeasurably more dangerous and capable than Liberal extremists; but the establishment is more dangerous and capable than anyone, and this is reflected in their ability to fan the flames of extremism on both ends of the political spectrum, primarily to keep the people occupied with futile battles against each other.
