If the religion were as rigid as extremists claim, it would not have lasted more than a few decades.

De-radicalisation does not take a long time. The arguments of extremists are easily debunked by basic knowledge of the religion, and common sense. The problem is that we falsely feel obliged to support their over-the-top rhetoric because it is “religious” in tone, and we assume they have noble intentions. But no, they are peddling lies…
