The original protest movement in Syria began with peaceful demonstrations, calling for socioeconomic reforms…now those original opposition activists are being targeted by the so-called “Islamists”…this is El Salvador..Nicaragua…Guatemala…of the 1980s all over again. The death squads this time around are calling themselves Islamic, but they are fighting, just as the death squads in Central America…
